…because I am staying true to myself. I have already written about how I love their meat, but there are also a few other things that I have tried and I think they are the best. Plus today I just needed some other stuff that I wanted to be stocked on and not keep waiting for the sale to come up. If I do that, I will not have much food in the house and that seems to be the case right now.
First off, I don’t care how cheap you find flour tortillas, unless you have never tried the uncooked ones from Costco, you will never know how bad the others really are. Or maybe I should say, you will never know how good you could have it. They are cooked to order, fresh, warm and scrumptious.
Sunny D?? I know, my kids like it and I priced it out and with a coupon from Costco it was cheaper than anywhere else I had found it. Doesn’t mean I won’t find it cheaper and when I do I will buy it, it only means I needed it and this was the best price I found and the convenience of having a whole case is pretty nice, I am not going to lie.
Costco Tilapia…I really do like this, it’s not fishy. I have tried other brands and have not been happy. I also love that they are individually frozen so you can easily take out what you need. Freezing fish in a clump is a mess. When I do find a good sale, I will look at buying it elsewhere, but I NEEDED it now.
The last thing I picked up today was the non scratch sponges. They too had a coupon and I have not seen any coupons for those in the last 3 months and I have not seen any deals, so again I needed these, so I am stocked up again.
It’s ok to buy without a super great deal and it’s ok to not get it for free. Especially if you love the product or have done your math and think “it’s close enough”.

With the economy the way it is, it seems like everyone is cutting back and trying hard not to spend money aimlessly on things. I think this is great. This is something that many people have needed to do for years now. But with so many blogs out there filled with all types of money saving tips, which I too will share, there comes a point where you feel guilty buying something that you truly want or enjoy, but you need to know, it's ok to splurge every now and then.

[...] was on sale for $.79 at Haggen. I had my tortilla shells from Costco, you can read about those HERE. They come in a 2 pack and I store them in the freezer. I can’t imagine that this meal [...]
