I scored pretty good at Target yesterday. I was on a mission to find a shirt to wear to a wedding today. I had a 20% off Merona coupon from my Everyday with Rachel Ray magazine and I had a $2 off Merona catalina. All that to say, I was searching through the Merona line, clearance and regular price.
I was excited with the shirt I found, it was $14.99, and with my 20% off I got it for $11.99. I needed it for a wedding and it was perfect.
They had my favorite wine of all, Evolution, on clearance for $11.88 a bottle. This is found often at grocery stores on sale for $15.99 a bottle. Needless to say at that price I bought all they had.
They had 2 pack Dove deodorants on clearance today.

With the economy the way it is, it seems like everyone is cutting back and trying hard not to spend money aimlessly on things. I think this is great. This is something that many people have needed to do for years now. But with so many blogs out there filled with all types of money saving tips, which I too will share, there comes a point where you feel guilty buying something that you truly want or enjoy, but you need to know, it's ok to splurge every now and then.
