Yep, that’s it, just 3 easy steps.
- Don’t touch your eyes or nose if you haven’t washed your hands. If you are not sure, use your shirt, just don’t let your kids catch you.
- At the first signs of “I wonder if I might be getting it” take Airborne every 3 hours throughout the day.
- If you missed step #2 and wake up with a sore throat mix this concoction:
1 tbls spoon Honey -which heals
Mix with warm, but not hot 1/4 cup water. I use enough to dissolve the honey in.
1-2 tsp. apple cider vinegar – which kills germs (I prefer Heinz)
This should not taste a whole lot like vinegar. If it’s too much for you dilute with more water, or add more honey. My friend that introduced me to this used to make it in a 4-8oz glass. At our house we make shots of it.
I will then repeat steps 1 & 2 throughout the day about every 2-3 hours, alternating the Airborne with the concoction and rarely do I get sick.
This Works for Me.

With the economy the way it is, it seems like everyone is cutting back and trying hard not to spend money aimlessly on things. I think this is great. This is something that many people have needed to do for years now. But with so many blogs out there filled with all types of money saving tips, which I too will share, there comes a point where you feel guilty buying something that you truly want or enjoy, but you need to know, it's ok to splurge every now and then.

Good tips. I find that I inevitably get colds because I am a preschool teacher. Germs come with the territory.
Thanks for sharing the homeopathic remedy, though, I will share this with my sick-in-bed hubby, and I am enjoying my visit to your blog, too. I hope you’ll stop over and visit me at Free 2 Be Frugal.
Niki you are right, as preschool teacher you probably get your share. What a bummer.
