Summer Bulbs for Your Yard

I do love Costco for some of my spring, summer and fall bulbs.  I have never had a problem with them and I really do love the price and the quantity.

One of my favorite flowers is the Liatris.  This bag was $12.99 and it comes with 100 bulbs.  The last time I bought this was at my old house and there were so many bulbs that I could not figure out where else to possibly put them.  Then of course they are perennials, so they multiplied every year.  So here is my math for $12.99.  I need Hostas and Ferns for my back yard and I know I have friends that have some extras, so in exchange I will give thema  few bulbs.

This other bag, the big blue one, was $19.99.  It contains only 15 bulbs  but it has some plants that I have been looking for.  The best part is the plants have lots of color and they have different bloom times, keeps your yard interesting for more than a month.  I am willing to start spending money on these products because I have finally come to terms with the fact that I have half a shade yard in the backyard.  Instead of spending money on things I hope will grow I will finally break down and buy the things I know will grow and again they are perennials, so it’s a great investment.
