Easy Carmel Apple Dip

This stuff is so good that I have caught myself over the years eating it without apples.  Like literally licking the bowl with my finger.  It’s more addictive than crack, so consider yourself warned.

Easy Carmel Dip

8 oz package of cream cheese at room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix everything together and serve with apples.  Yep it’s easy and sinfully delicious.

This will keep the kids busy while you finish getting dinner on the table.  Ok, who am I kidding, this will keep the kids busy for 3 minutes max, then it will be gone.

  1. Yum! Our favorite apple dip is 1 8-oz. package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar, and 1 package of Heath brickle chips.

I’m going to give yours a try though – Safeway has cream cheese on sale this week 10 for $10, so am going to stock up.

  2. When cream cheese and sugar is not enough…add a candy bar. 🙂 That does sound very good. We will have to give that a try. Thanks for the tip.

Yum! I’m hosting play group this week. I’m thinking this would be perfect to go with the apples that are on sale right now. Thanks!

My sister does 1/2 cool whip & 1/2 vanilla yogurt (lite versions) and swears by it!

  4. I think I have had something really similar, and yes, it was great!

  5. This sounds so yummy! If you get a chance, I’d love for you to come link it to my party this weekend. Starts tomorrow at 6pm PST. Hope to see you there! Again, looks awesome!

  6. Depending on how old your children are…why not have them set the table and YOU enjoy the dip? Thanks for the recipe – I’ll have to try it out since apple season is upon us.

  7. Simple+delicious=a great idea!
