Menu Plan October 11-16

Another way to save money is to menu plan.  I used to do this all the time.  I like it because:

  • It saves time
  • It saves money
  • It allows you to enjoy your day more and not have to be running to the grocery store at 4:30 when you realized you are missing an ingredient
  • It makes me feel organized, when really I’m not.

Here is my menu plan for the week:: I still like to grill and traeger as much as possible, so that’s what happening this week.

Monday : Pork Chops on the Traeger with Roasted veggies
Tuesday :  Left over Costco Chicken tossed with pasta and veggie – still thinking through this one
Wednesday : Hamburgers on the traeger with Sweet Potato Fries (cut sweet potatoes into thin strips toss with olive oil and salt and pepper and bake @400 degrees for 30 minutes or until crispy.) and Salad
Thursday : Spaghetti, but only because it looks like it’s supposed to rain.
Friday : Sandwiches.  It’s Homecoming and we have to work our meals around a parade and a football game.  We will just grab something to eat when we can and probably eat in shifts.
Saturday :  Pizza on the traeger.  We will order it from Papa Murphy’s for $12.99 after coupon. Don’t tell my daughter though, she is going to the Homecoming Dance.  This is a favorite of hers.

Check out the Menu Plan Monday and see what others are cooking this week.  I am already getting ideas for next week.
